Savannah Edwards Crowned Miss Georgetown Government School Heritage Queen 2026

Savannah Edwards, representing Tobago Cays, has been crowned Miss Georgetown Government School Heritage Queen 2026, following an impressive showing at the school’s inaugural pageant.
The event, held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the school grounds, brought together six contestants in a vibrant showcase of culture, talent, and elegance.
Participants were judged in several segments namely promotional speech, talent, evening wear, and interview, with each contestant demonstrating confidence and creativity.
Edwards delivered a strong and consistent performance throughout the competition, capturing the crown along with Best Promotional Speech and Best Evening Wear. Her evening wear, a striking blue ensemble, reflected the beauty of the Tobago Cays and was a standout moment of the night.
The Best Talent award was won by Leanna Stay, representing Black Point, whose presentation was centered on the Vincentian Creole. Her performance explored the history and cultural significance of the language, encouraging pride in identity and heritage, and resonated strongly with the audience.
Best Interview winner Lerosah Cuffy of La Soufrière was also named Second Runner-up, while Leanna Stay of Black Point secured First Runner-up.
The competition featured Knya Bhajan (Miss Botanical Gardens), Azalea Sutton (Miss Fort Charlotte), Daria Billy (Miss Vermont Nature Trail), Lerosah Cuffy (Miss La Soufrière), Leanna Stay (Miss Black Point) and eventual winner Savannah Edwards (Miss Tobago Cays).
Each young lady showcased a unique aspect of Vincentian culture, with their dresses reflecting elements of national heritage through thoughtful and elegant designs.
The evening was marked by energy, poise, and cultural pride, with organisers and patrons praising the contestants for their efforts and the overall success of the event.
The Georgetown Government School Heritage Pageant is expected to grow into a meaningful platform for students to celebrate their heritage while building confidence and self-expression.
