The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Coast Guard has responded to a possible drowning incident off the coast of Colonarie, North Central Windward this afternoon (May 30).
They are searching for a missing male from Park Hill, villagers say, who went fishing with friends.
He was reported missing at around 3:30 p.m.
At the time of this is report, his body was not retrieved. The missing male has only been identified by his peers as “Calderman”.
The search is complicated by bad weather, rough seas, and a reported ground reef in the area.
The missing person is described as a “youth,” and his peers are currently assisting the police with investigations.
